Unitrade Security Audit Update

Solidified.io will be performing the security audit for the UniTrade smart contract. This audit will ensure that there are not any vulnerabilities in the contract. It will bring trust and confidence in what we built and encourage new users to use our platform.

Solidified is a very big name in the crypto space, performing audits for very well known companies such as, Polymath, Gnosis, Bankera, Melonport (full list can be found on their website).

We have our launch date scheduled for September 30th. However the audit is scheduled to complete October 2nd. This will set the launch back by a few days. A top notch firm providing a solid review of the contract is worth the short delay. I am going to push the release back to that following week just in case we need to make any revisions based on the security audit results — I don’t foresee that happening but just in case. If everything comes back good then we are good to go even sooner.

Right now the development team is cleaning up frontend code, making optimizations and testing the staking contract (ETH rewards). We are awaiting the audit results and any final changes we might need to make to improve the security. The entire team working on the UniTrade smart contracts are very experienced developers and honestly this audit is an added bonus. I’ll have another update for you guys on the 2nd.

Everything is so close to finally being done. We’ve made an insane amount of progress so fast and I’m really happy with the results. Very soon everyone will be able to use UniTrade to place limit orders for token pairs on Uniswap and I’m excited for the future growth of the platform and our community.
