V2: Sneak Peek
With our highly anticipated V2 launch on the horizon, we wanted to provide a “sneak peek” of the new platform, consisting of both visuals and new features that are being incorporated into the product.
New User Interface: we have greatly simplified and streamlined the current V1 interface, thanks to all the great feedback from our supporters since the launch. Firstly, we will be offering users the ability to place both market orders and limit orders. This will eliminate the need to toggle between platforms (Uniswap & UniTrade) for trade execution. Secondly, we’ve significantly improved the ordering functionality, allowing users to set both gas and slippage separately. Gas can now be toggled in GWEI and is pre-populated with slow, average or fast settings, similar to MetaMask, greatly simplifying the experience for users. Slippage now has its own step in the order flow; previously defaulted at 1% on all orders, users will now be able to toggle slippage independently. Allowing users to set these inputs to their desired levels will greatly increase the likelihood of limit orders being fulfilled — particularly with the new limit order mining operation now open-sourced.
Popups & Notifications: our new interface has interactive popup windows to help people navigate the platform more efficiently. For example, a new “dashboard” will summarize all open orders, completed orders, and other relevant trading history that will be both interactive and engaging. Users can select orders via popup for more detailed information, or to simply cancel the order. Notifications will also be much more transparent to users. Did your order fail? Is your wallet not connected? If yes, you’ll see a large red box telling you just that!
Design/Feel: aesthetically speaking, the user interface is getting a major overhaul. V2 will have a similar look and feel to Uniswap — mitigating the “learning curve” for new users — and making it dead simple to place orders. While research and analysis can still be done on Unitrade.info, the actual trades will occur on Unitrade.app to simplify the trading experience. The interface itself is a low-frills, minimalist design that is both seamless and elegant. There will be stylish white and dark themes for users. It really has everything a trader could need — and want — in a platform.
Overall, we’re extremely excited for the upcoming launch of V2. The platform is really coming together nicely — a select group of individuals will be participating in a private beta of V2 this upcoming weekend. Everything remains on track for December 1st.
And, stay tuned to the Announcements channel this weekend for information about our upcoming trading competition!
